The Youth Literature Foundation has been granted Charity Status by the Inland Department’s Section 88.
Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap. 112) in Hong Kong provides tax exemption status for charitable institutions or trusts of a public character.
Qualified organizations are exempt from profits tax and can receive tax-deductible donations.
YOUTH LITERATURE FOUNDATION
Since the entries for the competition and the workload to organize this amazing event are growing at a fast speed we have decided to create a non-profit organization – YOUTH LITERATURE FOUNDATION – which will support Hong Kong Young Writers Awards.
