CANTONESE MATRIX

Cantonese Matrix is a non-profit adaptive digital platform for Cantonese language learning. It is adapted from our award-winning Mandarin Matrix™ system, which has been used in more than 12 countries since 2009. CMX is built for non-Chinese speaking (NCS) ethnic minority children in Hong Kong. Its interface is available in more than nine home languages, including Nepali, Bengali, Tagalog, Hindi, Urdu and Vietnamese. It is aligned with the Education Bureau’s Chinese Language Curriculum Second Language Learning Framework.

Our pilot program will deliver:

500 free CMX licenses under a freemium model, reaching approximately 400 low-income NCS students in schools serving ethnic minority communities.

Live “Train the Teacher” program so teachers can use the platform effectively,  and support each learner.

Live and online workshops for students, teachers and parents as needed, so families can support learning at home.
